Social Selling is about connecting with prospects and customers at their point of need. Benefiting from the vast amount of social chatter needn’t be expensive or difficult to set up. Sure you can go for a Radian6, Sysomos, Attensity or sm2 solution, but if you want to start small its possible.
Great tools such as Twitter itself or Hootsuite, Seesmic or even Tweetdeck can help you segment social chatter into useful streams.
To the right you can see a simple search in twitter for the Exact Phrase “Can anyone recommend” that must include either “Car OR Book OR Phone” within a 15 mile radius of London.
Searching the realms of social is not just about how many times YOU have been mentioned, its about Brand AND product, service, industry and conversational dynamics such as “Can anyone recommend?” or “i’m looking for”, all of which are expressed needs you should be searching for.
